Habitat Moving Forward on 2011 "Faith" House

The Habitat for Humanity 2011 "Building on Faith" project has achieved 50 percent of its sponsorship goal!

At least 10 Presbyterian churches are working to raise the funds and provide volunteer labor for the project anticipated to begin in July. The Sign-a-Stud program will continue at Hidenwood with hopes that all will sign the lumber to be used in the construction. Any contributions designated to Building on Faith Habitat for Humanity are appreciated. The studs will be available at several locations during March and April.

Any and all interested individuals ages 16 and older who would like to be involved in construction are encouraged to let me know of your interest by e-mailing me. This is not a commitment, merely a notice of availability. I will send out occasional e-mails of Habitat opportunities (dates, times, and nature of work) and commitments can be made at that time.  Remember, experience and expertise are not a requirement for volunteering.
